Located in the southern part of Italy are ancient Greek ruins and, what else, poppies growing near them! They are a marvelous site to see, the combination of blue skies, cypress, the actual Greek ruins surrounded by field stone walls, and the bright red poppies, seemingly unfazed by history long gone by.
