Inspired by J.M.W. Turner, Georgia O'Keefe, Massimo Cruciani, Edgar Degas and many others, I am pleased to be an artist painting in oils (palette knife and brush), soft pastels, paintings on glass and now watercolors. My landscapes are driven by my travel memories. My flowers are inspired by the actual thing -- I once had a pressed and dried flower business. And my skies -- my hero is Turner. What more can I say? My motto: "Life is short, use color!" I hope you enjoy my show.

Blue Skies of Colorado, painting on glass
There's something about this state -- it has amazingly blue skies. Some days are completely without clouds, particularly in the summer mornings. Of course, you must know my passion for sunsets...but I never take the blue of the sky for granted (having lived in New Jersey and Missouri).
"Blue Skies of Colorado", 9"x12" edge to edge glass, sold framed as shown -- close up on this website under "Works/Glass Paintings/Blues Skies of Colorado close up". S&H determined at time of sale
