"Tuscan Vista" by Karla Nolan, pastel painting

I'm finding myself longing for Italy. This happens some days. While it's been lovely and sunny today here in Colorado, with snow lining the streets, frosting up the shrubs and the trees, I remember so well the first time in the mid-1990's that I was in Tuscany. It was springtime, May, with the hills all lush with greens, the sheep grazing in the hilly meadows, the cypress trees slightly bending in the wind. We were near Montepulciano, an unknown town to me at the time. All was so, so lovely. Add to that, the wines of Tuscany and the freshest of foods! Take me back, please!

"Tuscan Vista", 11"x14" pastel painting on sanded surface, sold unframed for $300 which includes s&h in N. America, Paypal preferred, click on button below or write me at for more information
