Seascape II, pastel painting on sanded surface

I sometimes wish I lived by the ocean. Every time I go to visit a friend on either coast, West or East, I just fall in love all over again with the sea. The waves, coming and going, the sounds (which bring me peace)....do you know how lucky you are to live by the ocean, those of you who do? Never mind the seafood!!!!!

"Seascape II", 6"x6" pastel, sold unframed, $75 includes s&h in North America, e-mail me at KarlaNolan@gmail.com for more information

Hey, this is super gorgeous!! Love how it's semi-abstract.
I'm about to join the CO Daily Painters blog and was just scrolling through it and wanted to let you know I think this is fabulous.

Karla: This is very nice. I've not yet managed this purity of color with pastel. Maybe I just need to work a bit more at it, perhaps?
