I can almost feel it in my bones -- autumn is around the bend. The leaves are just beginning to think about turning yellow. The high country is a touch colder. Pretty soon snow might be touching down to the high ground. Elk, deer, mountain goats -- banished from the high mountains to stay a bit warmer at lower ground. I know it's just around the corner. Here is my painted memory....
