This painting is actually of Himalayan blue poppies, a poppy which I covet. They don't grow in this cold climate. However, I am seriously considering attempting to grow them as an annual, rather than a perennial, sometime in the future. They'll be potbound but that won't hurt anything.....I can get up close AND personal!
This framed painting on glass is, as I type, on the way to a new gallery in Jackson, Wyoming, a most fun town. I was accepted into their gallery for representation and am thrilled about it! So if you are interested in purchasing it, contact them at (307) 730-4619, www.wildhands.com, or visit them at 265 West Pearl in Jackson. It's a fun Western town! "Blue Poppies" 5"x7" framed painting on glass, $125.00
VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE: I was recently accepted by Dobbin Gallery, 175 Church Street, Charleston, South Carolina, for representation in their art gallery with paintings on glass, pastels, oils and table jewelry. Please visit their gallery when in town! It's a lovely place.
