Well, here is another skyscape for you. It's "Travelling" -- clouds drifting through the sky just before dusk settles. I see this all the time looking West from my doorstep. Lucky me! The colors vary somewhat, but this painting does, I feel, capture much of our Western sky. Good night!
"Travelling", palette knife oil on gallery wrapped canvas, no need to frame unless you care to! 18"x36", e-mail me at KarlaNolan@gmail.com for more information; Paypal, $695 for the painting, $15.00 for shipping ($710 total)

Inspired by J.M.W. Turner, Georgia O'Keefe, Massimo Cruciani, Edgar Degas and many others, I am pleased to be an artist painting in oils (palette knife and brush), soft pastels, paintings on glass and now watercolors. My landscapes are driven by my travel memories. My flowers are inspired by the actual thing -- I once had a pressed and dried flower business. And my skies -- my hero is Turner. What more can I say? My motto: "Life is short, use color!" I hope you enjoy my show.
