Iceland Poppy Quartet, painting on glass

My take on the lovely Iceland poppies, here on glass. Remember, this is painted directly onto the glass with specially formulated paints. A challenge it was! They are such charming little flowers, usually lasting around a day, possibly two if I'm lucky! I planted them in a blue planter last summer and enjoyed the show. They're annual flowers, unlike Oriental poppies, which are perennials. If I could grow them inside, I would!

"Iceland Poppy Quartet", 10"X8" edge to edge glass, sold in a simple black framed (not shown), as these paintings must be protected from scratches and chips and are once they are in a frame -- new pricing: $200 + $14.95 s&h to be determined at time of sale (also, see close up on my website)

Charming... Is the "right side" of the glass the one with the paint on it, or do you actually paint them and then flip the class? The tonal variation is amazing.

Thank you! Who are you? Just curious! Knitting is my nemesis, love crocheting, though! Do write again, if you can! Karla
